Venomancer

Venomancer is a villain character in warcraft defense of the ancients. Well i like to choose it a lot because of it offensive spells. Although all spells are usable, I think the DOTA creators capped it, to level the playing field. Now, with the right strategy, i think venomancer can whipped your opponent face to that ground.

Ok here is the strategy:

*** mass serpent ward.

as the title said... the main offense and defense is the serpent ward. mass? i mean, spam the the ground with it. one point of placing the ward is make it far from each other. this will the opposing creeps some time and distance to travel before destroying one of your wards. also as the creeps were busy traveling from one ward to another, you may attack them! but, if you do that certainly creeps will attack you and stop the attack on the ward. simple strategy as it seems, it still hard to make win the battle. there are a lot of factors to be considered. so keep playing until you get the hang of it.

it is arranged buying first to last:

1. Boots of Speed - for mobility.

2. Animal Courier - for buying items fast.

3. Flying Courier - upgrade animal courier for faster delivery and buying.

4. Ring of Health - for healing

4a. Void stone - now this can be tricky, depending how you play the game, you must choose health or mana. health if your the type likes to attack and attack. mana if your the type like to watch (pressing hold position) while your pawns and wards do the job for you.

5. repeat 4 and 4a. why? because this will give you more power. 2 perseverance make a +10 hp/sec healing, 250% mana regeneration, and plus 20 damaged. it is not a bad deal either.

after the two perseverance, you may choose what you want in the next items. either items have significant boost to your character but depending on your money and situation you may want to buy first what is you really needed.

6. linken sphere - 1 perseverance will be upgrade to linken sphere. spell negation is a must specially when your dealing with global attackers (Zeus and prophet). also sniper is a pain in the .... this item is very useful boost. the trouble in making this item is the high money cost. farming 2100 and 1300 is not a easy task. it may cost you some towers to be destroyed while you are away or you get yourself to be killed if you opted to farm by the enemy creeps. so decide whether you can make this item fast?

7. refresher orb - well one thing good about this item is that you can slowly build it from scratch. buying first sobi mask and robe of the magi, it can help you in building your mana. then making it to a oblivion staff you can reap a good boost for your character. combined with linken sphere, you got a +300% mana regen, enough to make your mana refill faster.

8. power treads - well what can i say? if you need more speed, toggling from mana regen, healing or attack boost, you need this item. i make this item well ahead of linken and refresher because of its low money requirements. you can buy the items if your not farming effectively.

9. sange and yasha - this item is very useful in attacking. very good boost in attack speed and damage also a chance spell in attacking. well, you cant really survive the game if your not attacking. a must item in latter part of the game. you may not buy this item, and may choose butterfly. but i choose sange and yasha.

10. agnahim's scepter - i choose this item to boost my poison nova. i think it is a 1+++ damage for 12 seconds. not bad for mass creep and low life heroes. some brag about they can kill a high hp hero with the help of this item. well it works for also like treant and lone druid.

11. assault cuirass - for attack speed. you may choose another item for the final slot. it is just my final choice.

well this items are just my preference items. any items will work just fine if you able to play it well. :)
